Digital program

The Playbook Project

Curate and codify teaching techniques for impact across the curriculum.

Program overview

Instructional playbooks help us to precisely define and describe teaching techniques all teachers can use flexibly across the curriculum. In this year-long digital program, you will work closely with Bron and a team of your colleagues to develop an instructional playbook (or guide) for your school. You’ll be given the time, knowledge, tools and resources to curate and clarify the teaching practices that matter most to you.

Program dates 2025

The Playbook Project consists of 4 x 2.5-hour workshops (via Zoom), and a commitment of 6-8 hours of structured, self-paced tasks to be undertaken throughout the year. As you move through the program, you will enjoy targeted feedback and support from Bron and her team of expert facilitators.

All live workshops will be recorded for review in your own time.

Who is this program for?

This program is specifically designed for school-based leadership teams who want to develop shared instructional language. Suited best to those working in primary or secondary settings, teams can include a combination of middle level leaders (e.g. Learning Specialists, Leading Teachers, PLC Leaders, Heads of Faculty) and Principal Class (e.g. Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Learning). Practising teachers are also encouraged to be part of the program.

While individuals are very welcome, we recommend a minimum of 2 participants per school. This will support the collaborative development of resources, and the building of shared understanding. Teams of 2 – 8 will be ideally placed to get the most out of the program.

What you’ll learn

“The Playbook Project has given our team absolute clarity about our focus for improving classroom practice. So useful!”

Sarah Gunn, Director of Studies & Pedagogy St Peters Lutheran College
