Bron Ryrie Jones

Bron is renowned for her deep and practical expertise supporting schools to realise responsive teaching. She is delighted to be hosting this conference.
Dr Haili Hughes
UK/AUS
Haili is an Associate Professor at La Trobe University and a former director of schools in England. She has advised government bodies around the world and authored ten books.
Jared Cooney Horvath (PhD)
USA [via video]
Jared is a neuroscientist specialising in human learning and brain development. He is the author of six books, including his newest, “The Digital Delusion”.
Implementation workshop leads
Emina McLean
Emina is a literacy policy and practice expert. She supports schools and systems to implement sustainable processes and practices in literacy and English education.
Karina Stocker
Karina is an instructional coach and a leading expert in implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. She is currently Assistant Principal at Bayswater Primary School.
Dr Ryan Dunn
Ryan is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, specialising in teacher professional learning, educational leadership, and evidence-based instruction.
Zahra Harvey
Brad Nguyen
Brad is a practising teacher and middle leader. He has deep expertise supporting schools to implement rigorous curriculum, teaching and assessment practices.
Belinda Crowe
Belinda is an English teacher and Learning Specialist at Mount Alexander College. She has extensive experience in leading improvement to school-wide instructional practice.
Rachael Buck
Rachael is an experienced school leader, who supports schools to implement robust literacy instruction. Recently, Rachael played a pivotal role developing Phonics Plus (DE, Victoria).
Dr Reid Smith
Reid is co-CEO of Impact Teaching Group, a national for-purpose organisation working to build a high-equity, high-excellence education system in Australia.
Chloe Painter
Chloe is an experienced teacher, school leader and literacy specialist. She is currently Deputy Principal at St Robert’s in Newtown, where she oversees curriculum and instruction.
Patrick Clark
Pat is Assistant Principal at Phoenix P–12 Community College. He leads school-wide instruction, and has recently focused on building a culture of shared professional learning.
Brydon O'Neill-Guy
Brydon is a mathematics curriculum specialist in Bron’s team. She has over 15 years’ experience as a classroom teacher, middle leader and curriculum leader.
Sonia Loudon
Sonia is Assistant Principal for Teaching & Learning at Elevation Secondary College. Outside this role, she supports schools to lead effective curriculum implementation.
